24-WB Bridge Replacement – Detailed Design

Township of Centre Wellington – Centre Wellington, Ontario

Doug was the Checking Engineer for the replacement of an existing bowstring arch bridge. The replacement bridge was a single-span (33.2 m) reinforced concrete slab on NU1200 girders. During the detailed design, DDA suggested reducing the depth of pile driving to save cost and construction time. DDA was a subconsultant to Triton Engineer for this work. Project value $2.5M.
